We��’re excited to share initial concepts for a Woodland Nursery extension in Lancashire! 🍂🍁🌿

The proposal intends to incorporate biophilic design principles to create a space that encourages young children to engage with their natural surroundings, supporting the Forest Schools initiative to extend education beyond the classroom and into the natural environment - reinforcing the ambition of a holistic approach to learning within early years development.

We’re looking forward to seeing concepts develop over the coming months; stay posted for more updates!

We are delighted to share that the Industry Hub at Burnley College won Project of the Year in the Colleges category at the Education Estates Awards last night! 🥳

Located within the new North Campus at Burnley College, the Industry Hub is designed to inspire future generations by providing state-of-the-art facilities for students hoping to pursue careers in technical and industrial sectors. By combining practical workshop spaces with areas for theoretical learning, the college can support the growing demand for T-Level study paths and offer even more opportunities to its students.

A couple of weeks ago the ABW team had a day trip to Conwy!

We began with a visit to the remarkable 738-year-old Conwy Castle, followed by a classic lunch of Welsh chippy chips by the quayside. In the afternoon we explored Plas Mawr, a beautifully preserved Elizabethan townhouse dating back to the 16th century.

Before heading home we made sure to stop by a local bakery for some well-earned cakes and treats - returning inspired, refreshed, and well-fed!

We’re excited to share images of the newly completed extension at Rochdale Sixth Form College.

This project provides much-needed additional teaching and learning areas, enhancing the experience for students and staff alike. A huge thank you to the entire team involved in making this project a success!

We’re delighted to share the completion of the new extension at Rochdale Sixth Form College - a space designed to support more young people in reaching their full potential.

This space is the result of a clear vision from a dedicated client, a collaborative design team, and the skill of Hargreaves Contracting who brought it to life on site. Together, we’ve delivered an inspiring environment that will serve both students and the wider community for years to come!
