COLLEGE LIBRARY

A former industrial building for Beechams is given new life by St. Helens College as a library.

The original arrangement had very poor environmental conditions, limited daylight, limited learning space, and was an unattractive space to study.

ABW’s objective was to create an inviting environment that would encourage students to base themselves on campus during the day for socialising, self learning and group activities. The space was zoned to allow different types of learning activity to take place.
