HOOLE LAWN TENNIS CLUB

ABW architects have been working with Hoole Lawn Tennis Club to deliver their new club house facility and courts on the outskirts of Mickle Trafford, Cheshire.

The site will accommodate 10 new tennis courts with a mixture of surfaces. The site also allows for a new bowling green and landscaping to sit the facility in its countryside location on the edge of the village and maintain the privacy of their existing neighbours. The proposals respect existing mature planting and are situated to avoid an Oil Pipe Line and remains of a Roman road.

In a virtual awards ceremony Hoole was announced as the 2020 LTA Club of the Year.
